A very dynamic centre for agriculture, the little town of Rosolini is the last point in Siracusa province before entering Ragusa province. The traditional foods here also represent a mix between the two provinces Ragusa and Siracusa. Called the "Città del Carrubo" for its carob production, Rosolini is also producer of some of the excellent products of Eloro District: Slow Food Cavolo Vecchio IGP Lemons IGP Pomodoro di Pachino. About 3 kilometres away, you will find Eremo di Croce Santa, or "Hermitage of the Holy Cross", an ancient site comprising four rock-hewn churches located in the Cava d'Ispica canyon.
